Artist in residence Fiona Hingston working with Judie Brown and 30 mixed aged children over three days.

The design idea was to design and make a pod for animal to live in, or emerge from.

The children were encouraged to draw from natural forms and then begin to work up their own drawings into a design. We then made the structural frames using willow and covered the frames with a skin of natural products.

The finished pods which were an amazing success are hanging in school. In September we will move the exhibition to Westonzoyland as part of the Arts Festival at the willow works Musgroves. Hopefully many parents and children will visit the exhibition.
