CREATIVITY WEEK IN YEAR 6

During Creativity Week some Year 6 children were away on a residential trip to Charterhouse. The remaining Year 6 children were involved with a numeracy week.

They worked on problem solving and were energetic and enthusiastic to work out the many tasks which lay ahead of them.

With Mrs Briggs and Mrs Holt the children also produced cakes, weighing ingredients and calculating proportions of ingredients. These were enjoyed by all at the end of the day!

During Art the children designed their own Star Burst Pictures. They produced some exciting designs and during ICT we decided to replicate these designs by using ICT Programs. It was an exciting experience to produce their designs using various programs on the computers and laptops.

Finally Mrs Durant produced a book for Rowan and Beech Classes to display their Art and ICT Starburst Pictures.

Overall the children enjoyed an exciting week with many experiences involving numeracy skills.
